Unique Logos!

I'm a Media Innovation student. I had one assignment work where we have to design our own logos. Since I have no background on originality, I failed miserably. My logo looked so normal-ish. Geez. I did a little research and I found these!

Now this one's cool. Never thought of that.
But this one's color,spelling EIGHT with the number 8.

Now when am I going to have a mind so wide, up till the point I can think as creative as to create logos such as the above?!
